By accessing or using Aqi (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Aqi is an AI‑powered companion platform provided by Aqta. The Service may include:
We may update or improve features from time to time.
To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
We recommend enabling any available security features (e.g. OTP login).
Aqi uses a credit‑based system with optional subscriptions:
Credits are used when you send messages or use certain features (for example, image analysis or longer conversations). Unused credits do not roll over to the next billing period. Annual billing options may be offered at a discount.
Subscription fees are billed in advance (monthly or annually, depending on your choice) through our payment provider (currently Revolut). You can cancel at any time; your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide partial refunds for unused time, except where required by law (for example, EU "cooling‑off" rights for consumers).
You agree not to:
We may investigate misuse and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
The Service, including all software, branding, and content (other than your own content and data) is owned by Aqta or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant us a limited license to process and store that content as needed to provide and improve the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.
Your use of Aqi is also governed by our Privacy Policy. That policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using the Service, you consent to this processing and confirm that any data you provide is accurate and lawful to share.
Aqi may generate information that touches on health, law, finance or other sensitive areas. The Service does not provide professional advice and should not be used as a substitute for consultation with a qualified professional. You are responsible for how you use any information from Aqi.
To the maximum extent permitted by law: Aqta is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you have paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service or if we are required to do so by law. You may stop using the Service at any time and can cancel your subscription through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. We may retain certain data as required or permitted by law and as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you (for example, by email or an in‑app notice). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts, unless mandatory consumer protection rules give you different rights.
